In 1947, S.D. and R.D. Southern started Alberta Trailer Hire (now
known as ATCO Structures & Logistics Ltd.) in Alberta, Canada.
Today, ATCO Structures & Logistics celebrates over 60 years
of supplying modular building solutions to clients in over 100 countries,
and has offices and manufacturing facilities in Canada, the United
States, South America, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates
and Australia.
Since its beginning with ATCO Structures, several more ATCO companies
have been formed. These companies all fall under the ATCO Group
umbrella, creating a worldwide organization of companies engaged
in Utilities (pipelines, natural gas and electricity transmission
and distribution), Energy (power generation and midstream services),
Structures & Logistics (manufacturing, logistics and noise abatement)
