with ATCO’s blast compliant buildings
ATCO's blast-resistant buildings are certified to
API RP 752/753 specifications - that means our standard blast-resistant
buildings are designed for use at overpressures up to 8 psi. Reinforced
concrete collapses at an overpressure of 4 psi.
Exposure to toxic release hazards are mitigated with
our heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system which
has been engineered to rapidly shut down or go into recirculation
mode. Exhaust fans and ducts are equipped with a positive seal against
infiltration of outside air. Doors and windows are also sealed.
Stay connected when staying connected seems almost
impossible! Our blast resistant shelters can be equipped with emergency
communications equipment so that you can communicate with your personnel.
